Job Description
We are seeking an Intermediary Trackwork Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in railway track design alignment and construction working on both urban transit and interurban railway projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering highquality trackwork solutions.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop railway trackwork solutions for urban and interurban environments.
- Conduct alignment design turnout layouts and track structure calculations.
- Perform site visits and technical assessments to ensure track design feasibility.
- Collaborate with civil signaling and structural engineers to integrate trackwork into larger infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with railway engineering standards (e.g. AREMA EN UIC or national standards).
- Assist in track construction and maintenance planning providing engineering support during execution.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide input on project specifications and material selection.
- Prepare engineering drawings reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Railway Engineering or a related field.
- Masters degree is a plus.
- 37 years of experience in railway track design and construction.
- English preferably Thai language
- Proficiency in railway design software (e.g. Bentley Rail Track OpenRail AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Knowledge of railway infrastructure standards and best practices.
- Experience with both ballasted and nonballasted track systems is a plus.
- Good project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Quick learner to be autonomous and proactive attitude anticipating issued and preparing in advance
- Ability to work in an international context Good level of English
