We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our New Product Development initiatives in Ballina Ireland. This pivotal role will drive innovation and guide crossfunctional teams through the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Develop and implement comprehensive programme plans for NPD projects aligning with organisational goals and strategies
- Lead and motivate crossfunctional teams fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- Manage programme budgets timelines and resources ensuring efficient allocation and utilisation
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process implementing effective solutions
- Collaborate with customers at all levels including senior management to ensure programme success and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee the product development lifecycle from ideation to market launch ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Analyse market trends and customer feedback to inform product development strategies
- Establish and monitor key metrics to measure programme success and drive continuous improvement
- Present regular progress reports and updates to senior management and key partners.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across teams and departments
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 57 years of experience in programme management or product development roles
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects or programmes
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum Waterfall)
- Expertise in product development lifecycle management
- Proficiency in budgeting financial planning and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira)
- Experience in leading and motivating crossfunctional teams
- Indepth understanding of industry trends and best practices in NPD
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management (depending on the industry)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach
