How youll contribute to our team of product analysts:
As a Data Analytics Intern youll join our team of passionate product analysts and engineers helping us scale Wise to reach hundreds of millions more customers. Youll play a key role in building robust data pipelines and empowering teams with selfserve analytics enabling faster smarter decisions across the company.
Heres what youll be doing daytoday:
Build scalable data pipelines that power our analytics and product decisions.
Enable selfserve analytics by creating intuitive scalable data models and tools (e.g. Dashboards) helping stakeholders quickly find the insights they need.
Dive into data to uncover insights that help prioritize impactful product improvements for our customers.
Collaborate closely with product teams analysts and engineers contributing your ideas and proactively solving realworld challenges.
Qualifications :
What does it take These things are essential:
Youre available to intern for 6 months from June 2025
Youre eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship
Youre currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science Mathematics Statistics STEM Economics).
You have knowledge of data modeling fundamentals and ideally some experience designing and implementing data structures.
Youre proficient in SQL and comfortable working with relational databases.
Youre a clear communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for nontechnical teammates.
Youre naturally curious proactive and eager to learn.
Youre openminded and value feedback as a way to continuously improve.
Bonus points if you have (but dont worry if you dont):
Experience with cloudbased data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift)
Experience with a scripting language such as Python or R for data analysis
Experience with data transformation frameworks like dbt (data build tool)
Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow
Experience with improving data quality identifying and resolving inaccuracies or discrepancies
Previous internships or projects in data engineering analytics engineering or technical data roles especially in fintech or tech environments.
