In this role as a Sr. Hardware Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for the reliability engineering of our new and emerging category devices. You should have a good understanding of Reliability statistics Reliability tests and a solid understanding of consumer electronics. You will be responsible for:
Defining new test specifications methodologies and test coverage to assure product reliability Identifying and validating product risks while working with design teams to mitigate them Owning handson experimental design and execution Performing reliability prediction of failure mechanisms on products under development and products in the field
You will engage with an experienced crossdisciplinary staff and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition execution and test. You must be responsive flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. 3 years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience Experience with prototyping and implementation
Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
