DescriptionAdministers ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patients agespecific needs is required.

Mayo Clinic Arizonas electrophysiology lab is an environment of collaboration and growth. Our vision is to have an efficient highly trained lab that can perform complex and highquality procedures. This is done through a collaborative team of radiologic technologists EP technologists nurses and physicians working in tandem to deliver unparalleled care. We treat patients who need diagnostic and complex electrophysiology studies and ablations in addition to device implants.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED. Graduate from an accredited radiography program of study.
Additional Qualifications:
- One year experience as an interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab technologist preferred.
- Functions as an Interventional Radiology Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Lab Technologist.
- Ability to improvise standard procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
License/Certifications:
- ARRTR and Arizona CRT required.
- Basic Life Support Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
- CV CIVI RCIS or RCES required within two years of hire.
- Certification in Cardiac or Vascular Intervention by the ARRT preferred.
