Job Description

The BASIS Ed Central Office is seeking qualified candidates for a Campus Recruiter/University Relations Specialist position!

BASIS Ed Central Office is seeking a dynamic and motivated Campus Recruiter/University Relations Specialist to join our growing team! This role is instrumental in building strategic partnerships with colleges and universities and supporting highvolume recruitment during peak hiring seasons. A major focus of this position will be the development and ongoing management of a comprehensive student teacher placement program to support the longterm talent pipeline for BASIS Charter Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and coordinate career fair opportunities across Arizona and in other target regions

  • Create and maintain employer accounts on university career platforms to promote open positions

  • Build and sustain relationships with career services student organizations and academic departments

  • Develop and distribute promotional materials tailored to college and university audiences

  • Increase BASIS Charter Schools brand awareness on college campuses positioning us as an employer of choice

  • Organize and lead oncampus engagement initiatives such as classroom talks info sessions and other oncampus events

  • Develop implement and manage a student teacher placement program including relationship building with education departments securing placement opportunities and supporting student teachers throughout their experience

  • Proactively communicate with prospective candidates and maintain a database of future talent

  • Partner with the recruiting team to match candidates with school opportunities

  • Support the design and implementation of internship and preservice teaching programs

  • Conduct candidate interviews and assess potential talent

  • Explore advertising opportunities and additional channels to promote BASIS Charter Schools on college campuses

  • During peak hiring seasons assist the recruitment team with sourcing and screening candidates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment preferred

  • At least 1 year of experience in campus recruiting or university relations preferred

  • Experience developing or managing student teaching or internship programs is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to travel regularly within Arizona and occasionally out of state
