  • 12.86 13.08 per hour

About the role:

Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.

  • Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting washing feeding and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
  • Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
  • Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping through brief written recording on individual client records
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
  • You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework

About you:

Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided.

  • A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work various shifts including evenings weekends and bank holidays
