All about the role:
As a developing Multi Academy Trust now is an exciting time to join us here at St Marks CofE Junior School. We are a fantastic mainstream primary looking to appoint a motivated and creative KS2 Teacher to join our team.
You might be a qualified primary teacher or you may be someone whos interested in developing into a teaching position with the support from Brunel as we are keen to support both qualified teachers in their career as well as those who are interested in developing into a teacher whether with or without a degree initially.
Your Role
The attached job description will detail your role in full but at a glance some of the key areas you will be responsible for include (but are not limited to):
- Able to provide examples of good teaching practice; including preparation and planning classroom management and the maintenance of effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues or exposure to this in a Senior Teaching Assistant / HLTA capacity
- To organise the effective deployment and direction of Teaching Assistants
- To support the School Improvement Plan and contribute to the strategic vision of the Headteacher and Local Governing Committee (LGC)
- To set and evaluate individual termly targets and to maintain records of achievement for pupils in consultation with colleagues
- To provide a stimulating classroom environment where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils
