Who You Are
Youre a videographer and producer with a passion for local journalism and storytelling looking to make an impact across multiple brands while being part of a supportive and collaborative team. You have handson experience creating engaging content geared towards virality and social media growth on Instagram TikTok YouTube and other social media platforms. You are selfmotivated with a strong sense of initiative and possess the ability to work independently as well as with a team and adaptable in a fastchanging environment and youre detailoriented with a knack for understanding brand identity and tone.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for appearing oncamera video editing and producing vertical video content for social media platforms like Instagram TikTok and YouTube Shorts with a focus on lifestyle and culture including events food travel nightlife shopping and other topics.
What Youll Do
- Produce host shoot and edit original videobased content for social video platforms.
- Generate and pitch content ideas write scripts schedule shoots and other pre and postproduction activities.
- Collaborate with other team members and participate in regular meetings via Google Meet and inperson as necessary.
- Upload and organize projects and footage on the video teams hot and cold storage management systems.
- Participate in discussions around weekly assignments pitches revisions and more as necessary.
What You Have
- A keen attitude and passion for creating lifestyle and culture content.
- Oncamera experience creating content for TikTok YouTube Shorts and/or Instagram.
- The ability to work independently to shoot videobased content to bring your ideas to fruition but also collaborate with fellow team members as applicable on script writing and editing.
- Excellent time management attention to detail and consistently hit deadlines.
- Ability to work unconventional hours evenings and weekends as applicable.
- Candidate is a selfstarter who can work independently and collaborate with the team when required.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite with a demand for Premiere Pro; knowledge in After Effects; experience with Photoshop/Illustrator; and baseline knowledge of Media Encoder.
