Sites & Facilities Coordinator

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is looking for a Site and Facilities Coordinator to join on a Permanent FullTime basis.
As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta the Site and Facilities Coordinator is accountable for ensuring the safety security and maintenance of the schools of the Westmead Catholic Community incorporating the two schools on site; Catherine McAuley Westmead and Parramatta Marist High School.
The Sites Coordinator is accountable for:
Managing the effective delivery of site and equipment maintenance security and general site upkeep
Recommending capital and maintenance budgets to the school and the subsequent implementation of approved projects
In relation to building projects coordination of ICT and equipment requirements and worksite planning in consultation with the Principal.
Project managing capital works initiatives and improvements
Working with stakeholders on ensuring safety and security of sites and managing risks
Maintaining strong relationships with Diocesan and CSPD property counterparties and external stakeholders

The ability to follow direction prioritise and meet set deadlines.
Strong communication skills
Demonstrate outstanding organisational and coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Stakeholder engagement and developing strong relationships with Diocesan and CEDP property counterparties and Westmead Alliance participants.
ICT competency.
Strong team management skills with a proactive approach.
Technically minded with industry knowledge.
Good knowledge of building methods and regulations as well as commercial acumen.
Typical Experience and Qualifications
Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications in a Facilities related discipline; or significant demonstrated industry experience involving building services.
Demonstrate project management experience including an understanding of project management methodologies.
Experience in supplier/contractor management.
Hold a current drivers license.
This position is classified as specialist/coordinator. $119775 $153045 base salary depending on experience)

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for childrelated employment including the completion of a National Police Check retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPDS Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
