Job Description

Key Accountabilities Summary: Advises and supports the business in areas related to current and future state financial performance. Provides Finance consulting coaching and insight on business performance business outlook market conditions competitors and alternative business scenarios.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manages the life cycle for projects and services in designated area
  • Monitors and analyses performance of offerings (KPIs)
  • Provides inputs on results related to strategic initiatives to BU heads
  • Monitors warranty and performance guarantees
  • Supports project manager for billing schedule preparation
  • Accounts Receivables collection
  • Project soft closure/hard closure
  • Ownership of the complete project and services life cycle responsibility within area
  • Coordinates creation of projects and monitoring the project execution
  • Ensures revision of revenue and cost estimates
  • Promotes a culture of personal and team safety including others who may be affected by the companys operational activities

Seize global opportunities

The Finance Business Partner position is responsible for overseeing the financial activities related to the Field Services and Service Centres in the Asia Pacific region. Primary responsibilities consist of establishing the financial transparency and insights to support the Regional Professional Services Head and managers. The FBP will be responsible for providing detailed cost and efficiency analysis of operations reviewing the implication of sales forecast on operational mattersfinancial tracking of ongoing optimization projects and CAPEX improvements. This role acts as point of contact in advising operations within the region on all financial matters.

Your responsibilities

  • Function as business partner to the local regional and global management team
  • Work with business leaders to drive margin improvements across Professional Services in the APAC region.
  • Work closely with Group Finance teams to improve transparency and safeguard profitability by delivering top quality analytics and insights
  • Create site specific financial reports maintaining clarity on Revenue COGS and SG&A costs
  • Drive input collection from various departments and functions to prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Monthly review of headcount utilization evaluation of resource requirements considering utilization and production schedules
  • Maintain standard cost create variance reports review with business and management to determine the need for any adjustments
  • Drive the financial integration/separation according to the global framework
  • Quarterly trueup of actual cost vs. standard cost along with under/over absorption charge out
  • Analyze financial data and operational cost for comparison to budget and forecast with focus on order intake revenue and margin cost levels absorption and Net Working Capital (NWC).
  • Highlight any trends that require attention or correction and work to implement improvements
  • Collaborate with global team in identifying best practice and improvement opportunities implementing the new Global KPIs
  • Identify priority investment areas to enhance profitability assist and support CAPEX planning
  • Special projects as needed including upcoming new ERP implementation
