Description

The Harker After School Instrumental Music Program is currently seeking an experiencedviolin teacher for both private and group lessons.

Pay is $75 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experiencewith working with elementary level students ages 512
  • Lessons areafterschool MondaysFriday 3:306:45pm depending on enrollment but are usually23days a week
  • Guitar Group on Fridays
  • Masters degree in performance and/or education preferred but not required
  • Private oneonone teaching experience with general pedagogy use of method books along with supplementary materials
  • Conducting and leading group and ensembles for young students a plus
  • Ability toteach ukulele and basshelpful but not required
  • Additional experience teaching through Zoom helpful but not required
