About This Role:
DaytonGranger Inc. is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join our Quality team in Fort Lauderdale FL. In this role youll be responsible for checking incoming parts and materials to ensure they meet required standards. Youll review supplier paperwork inspect items using hand tools and help keep our production team running smoothly. If you have experience in receiving or inspection within a manufacturing environment and enjoy working with both people and processes this could be a great longterm fit. Prior aerospace experience is helpful but not required.
What Youll Do as a Receiving Inspector:

Inspect incoming parts materials and hardware for accuracy and quality

Review supplier documentation (packing slips certifications test reports) for completeness and compliance

Compare parts against blueprints drawings and specifications
-
Use calipers micrometers height gauges and other tools to verify dimensions
-
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials received
-
Record inspection results clearly and accurately in internal systems
-
Collaborate with Purchasing Engineering and Production teams to resolve discrepancies
-
Maintain a safe clean and organized work area
-
Support other team needs as assigned

Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
23 years of experience in receiving inspection or a related manufacturing role
-
Experience using measurement tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges
-
Able to read and understand packing slips basic blueprints and specifications
-
Detailoriented with good recordkeeping and organizational habits
-
Basic computer skills (Excel Outlook PDFs); ERP experience is a plus

Effective communication skills and a teamfocused attitude
-
Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform visual tasks (color depth clarity)

Must speak read and understand English
Preferred (Nice to Haves):

Prior experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing

Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality standards

Experience using ERP systems like Oracle or Infor
