Job Description
Position Summary:
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing developing testing and deploying customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support public sector clients. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture Apex programming and Lightning components with a focus on delivering scalable and secure applications that meet government standards and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex Visualforce and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts architects and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
- Conduct unit testing peer code reviews and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure compliance with security privacy and accessibility standards (e.g. FedRAMP Section 508).
- Maintain documentation for code configurations and system processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- 3 years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Proficiency in Apex SOQL SOSL Lightning Web Components and Visualforce.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or Government Cloud.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with tools like Jira Confluence and Copado.
- Understanding of data security and compliance in the public sector.
