Responsibilities:
- Strategy Alignment: Link the business strategy to the organizations IT strategy and document this using multiple architectural models or views
- Consultancy and Guidance: Provide expert consultancy advice and guidance on architecture areas and integration issues through Solution Architects
- Maintenance and Updates: Support the maintenance of architecture to reflect changes in the IM strategy new requirements technology innovations and business change
- Risk Management: Maximize opportunities while considering commercial technical and financial implications of risks
- Supplier and Partner Communication: Validate that suppliers and partners support the IM strategic direction through effective communication influence and relationship building
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience in managing data and/or information architectural development at an enterprise level
- Systems Analysis: Substantial experience in systems analysis and requirements specification
- Strategy Level Work: Experience working at the business and IS Strategy level
- Integration Knowledge: Knowledge of enterprise integration concepts and technologies

- Substantial experience of corporate process architecture development and deployment
- Broad experience of the use of modelling data management simulation workflow and enduser analysis tools Proficiency of database technologies especially Oracle ERP (11i) and messaging including IBM (MQ) and Oracle (AQ) and broad XML experience Data Management concepts & technology (e.g. Data warehousing DBMSs e.g. Oracle) Process Management and workflow concepts and technologies (e.g. Oracle Workflow) Development lifecycles and notations covering structured object and component based approaches (e.g. IE SSADM DSDM RUP UML)
- Software Infrastructure/Middleware concepts and technologies

- Experience of the use of Enterprise Integration Architecture (EAI) methodologies and tools covering 3 or more of: Oracle ERP IBM Middleware Web Portals Data Warehousing GIS Document Management HP IBM Midrange (Unix) and Microsoft based desktop and server environments
Accountability
1. Own at least one of and otherwise contribute to the definition and development of the IM strategy data application integration technology infrastructure and security architecture as a cohesive and coherent set of architectures that support the business needs and policies.
2. Evaluate proposed changes to these architectures such that risks to the business are mitigated.
3. Research evaluate define and maintain corporate data and information policies processes standards tools and repositories necessary for the successful use and/or reuse of data and information models.
4. Support the maintenance of these architectures to reflect changes to the IM strategy for new requirements emergence of technology innovations and changes to the business.
5. Provide expert consultancy advice and guidance on the architecture areas and on integration issues through the Solution Architects to provide projects within IM business and industry partners with a clear understanding of the framework. Maximise opportunities taking full account of commercial technical and financial implications of the risks.
6. Validate that suppliers and partners support the IM strategic direction through communication influence and relationship building.
