Take charge of sales budget realization of its products in the sectors entrusted to him in order to achieve the national objective assigned to the team in compliance with the AstraZeneca strategy the provisions of the regulations the medical ethics and the charter of the medical examination applicable.
Role and responsibilities:
Organization and management of work:
Evaluate the interest of each member of the medical profession for the products in their portfolio. Use all the data made available to it (IMS etc.) and those resulting from its own research (direct investigation with HCPs interlocutors) deduce a prospecting target according to the companys strategies propose sectoral action plans to ensure the achievement of objectives periodically assess the deviations from forecasts / achievements and propose the necessary adjustments.
Apply the marketing strategy in each of the sectors or regions that are attached to him for each product for which he is responsible.
Apply the orientations and recommendations defined by the structure or department in charge of marketing strategy and / or medical promotion.
Segment objectively and rationally target health professionals in each sector that has been assigned to them according to the methodology recommended by AstraZeneca NEMAG in order to qualitatively optimize their professional performance.
Discuss and validate with his supervisor a sectoral tour plan which takes into account the following elements:
Targeting and correct selection of doctors (potential type of activity and specialty)
Respect of visit frequencies
Compliance with the coverage rate for each of the targets
Compliance with the promotion order established within the product portfolio for which he is responsible
At the level of the sectors assigned to him he must:
Carry out medical visits to doctors according to a tour plan validated by his supervisor in order to develop the adoption of his products for the benefit of patients and to achieve the set objectives.
Determine precise objectives for each visit and ensure the availability of the means he will need during the visits.
Report and exploit all existing opportunities that can enhance the brand image of the range of products for which he is responsible in all sectors assigned to him as part of his professional activities
Have the ability to react quickly calmly and professionally to any problem directly or indirectly related to the brand image of the product or of AstraZeneca in general.
Be in competitive intelligence in order to have a permanent overview of the ins and outs of the pharmaceutical local market.
Update your doctor files and data relating to your activity.
Perform requested reporting operations on Veeva
Planning visits for the coming week (s)
Enter visits and send every day in the crm available
Organize promotional meetings (RLM SLM).
Manage the budgets allocated for promotional actions
Methodical and thoughtful management of the medical examination:
Apply good medical promotion practices to this end he must:
Prepare for the visit define and adjust a visit objective specific to each doctor included in the tour plan by integrating the information collected at the pharmacy level.
During visits provide their interlocutor with quality information consistent with the training and instructions received likely to arouse their interest and enable them to correctly prescribe laboratory products.
Deliver messages relating to the promoted products in line with the visit objective and known information on the doctors needs
Personalize their professional practice (listening argumentation use of media etc.) according to the doctors personality their therapeutic choices sales statistics in their sector and any other data at their disposal (pharmacy IMS etc. )
Ensure the followup of the medical examination carried out and note the constructive information not covered during the visit to answer it during the next visits.
Collect analyze and regularly update quantitative and qualitative data related to its activity (update of listings laboratory and competition actions environmental data etc.)
Formalize his medical examination by sending his activity reports in time and filling in his doctors files which must be kept up to date.
A tour plan is established beforehand at the start of each visit cycle by the medical information delegate who must be followed. This tour plan must be continuously analyzed in order to define the various intervention levers that will allow it to qualitatively improve its customer portfolio.
Relationship with health professionals

Transmit to the relevant laboratory departments or inform their superiors of:
Any question or request for documentation on the laboratorys products and the pathologies that concern them (Medical Information Service & Medical Dpt)
Any pharmacovigilance element in the appropriate form (Pharmacovigilance Dpt)
Any information likely to guide the laboratorys strategy and promotional action (Marketing Dpt).
Ensure regular contact with colleagues in the network and other networks to optimize team spirit
Resource Management
Carefully manage the material resources made available by the laboratory (promotional material computer equipment telephone or tablet documentation stand etc.)
Local promotional actions (scientific days congresses etc.)
Ensure the material and logistical organization of the planned actions by himself or by his hierarchy ensures the animation or coordinates the participation of the various speakers or facilitators.
Follow up on operations with participants and assess their profitability.
May be required at the request of his superiors to participate in promotional actions outside his sector (national international) outside of normal working hours.
Training and Upgrade:

Education Qualifications Skills and Experience :
Experience in the medical examination
Level of higher education required (Doctor Dentist Veterinary Pharmacist or Biologist) commercial or scientific training being a plus.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and therapeutic environment.
Mastery of communication techniques
Knowledge of regulations related to the pharmaceutical environment (medical promotion advertising and pharmacovigilance...)
Use of computer tools (internet office automation MS)
The practice of technical English (computer and scientific) would be a plus.
