Major Responsibilities and Abilities:
- Create opportunities for employment by being solution oriented proactively marketing specific clients to specific employers for job placement including parttime and fulltime paid employment placements job shadowing informational interviews and work experience placements.
- Flexible to working differing hours Monday to Friday to meet Employer needs.
- Ability to travel to conduct initial and ongoing Employer onsite visits at multiple community locations.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the diverse needs of participants such as literacy emotional social behavioral and cultural
- Meet annual deliverables for the position related to # of Employers # of participants and # of job opportunities.
- Arranging interviews and supporting participants at job interviews as required
- Coordinate and facilitate required training that will support job retention including onthejob certifications
- Stay attuned to local community employment related venues and markets trends.
- Utilize relationships to help support the programs with obtaining guest speakers and industry experts
- Regular attendance/presentations at Career Fairs and other employer related networking opportunities
- Provide inclass facilitation and employability skills training as required to support the success of all employment programs delivered by the YMCA.
- Transition between programs providing support with participant classroom setup and takedown service navigation participants resource inquiries and appointments as needed.

- A combination of education training and practical experience in the employment field
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Selfmotivated ability to both follow directions and take initiative
- Must be openminded flexible and thrive on a teamwork approach
