Job Description
We are seeking a Personal Care Attendant for a 05-weeks travel/contract assignment in Pottstown PA 19464. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 3:00 PM End: 11:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing grooming toileting and dressing
- Support ambulation transfers and safe mobility
- Provide medication reminders (per policy)
- Prepare and serve meals according to client needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping including laundry dishes and general tidying
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor client well-being and report changes to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous caregiving experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable responsible and compassionate
Certification:
- CPR Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- PCA Certificate (from a state-approved training program)
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
