Job Summary

About the role

This is more than just a leadership role! its a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people. As the Residential Case Management Coordinator youll be the steady hand guiding a passionate team through the ups and downs of residential care. Youll help shape safe nurturing homes where young people can heal grow and thrive.

Youll be the go-to person for case planning team support and program oversight working closely with staff families and community partners. Every day brings something new whether its mentoring a team member solving a tricky placement challenge or celebrating a young persons progress.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Qualifications: Bachelors degree in social work or equivalent or extensive experience in a relevant field with a qualification in Youth Work Welfare or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Demonstrated background in child protection child welfare or related practice.
  • A knowledge of relevant Community Service Organisations local and State Government (DHHS) and the ability to network with these services.
  • Program Development: Proven ability to plan and implement change at the program level.
  • Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of community service organisations and government. bodies (e.g. DHHS) with the ability to build effective networks.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and staff supervision skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong time management and administrative capabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional Knowledge: Solid theoretical foundation and understanding of voluntarism.
  • Values Alignment: Commitment to the mission and values of MacKillop Family Services.

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Drivers Licence;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
