THE POSITION
- Cleaning patient rooms operating theatres offices and public spaces.
- Preparing rooms for new admissions and assisting with discharge cleaning.
- Using approved cleaning products disinfectants and floor machinery.
- Managing stock reporting issues and safely handling biohazardous waste.
- Following strict health safety and infection control protocols at all times.
THE PERSON
- Takes pride in high standards of cleanliness.
- Respects patient privacy and understands hospital sensitivities.
- Works well in a team and adapts to changing priorities.
- Can obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Is willing to meet hospital immunisation requirements.
