This role is responsible for driving revenue and scheduling procedures with qualified patients through client follow up consultation education and outreach. Consults and educated prospective patients on surgical and nonsurgical procedures treatment plans and information on the doctors and the practice.Job Description:
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Engages and responds to inquiries via email phone and facetoface consultations with current and potential patients from initial inquiry to followup after care. Educates patients on proposed treatment care plans manage interactions with patients both pre and postoperative phase.
Works closely with the Doctors and is involved in all aspects of the client experience.
Patiently and thoroughly answers patient questions about surgical/nonsurgical options help set realistic expectations regarding outcomes informatively and compassionately respond to patient concerns.
Discuss financing options with patients and assist in qualifying patient.
Follow up with patients during their decisionmaking process and post procedures.
Schedule surgery and in office procedures efficiently working with hospitals physician and patients.
Supports the growth of surgical and nonsurgical business with the goal to maximize revenue and expand the patient base.
Routinely follows up with potential patients as appropriate with the intent of generating additional patient encounters and to encourage patients consideration of future services.
Ambassadors within the community for building new and maintaining relationships with local businesses and providers.
Monitors ordering of cosmetic supplies and equipment to ensure timely receipt to maintain good department work flow.
EDUCATION:
HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Good attention to detail with time management and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Basic knowledge of word processing presentation and email software such as Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Outlook including proficiency with Epic and Televox.
Work independently as well as be part of the team while accomplishing multiple tasks under varied and urgent conditions.
Identify and evaluate routine or standard problems then select appropriate solution from established options.
Ensure the privacy of each patients protected health information (PHI).
Communicate medical information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences including nonmedical people.
Build collaborative relationships with patients prospective clients peers physician other healthcare providers and vendors to promote Suter Health services and provide exceptional customer service.

Pay Range is $42.56 to $53.20 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
