Position at Pilgrims
This Person will be responsible for providing assistance to the safety and health efforts as directed by the Complex Safety Manager and/or Safety Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of general safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for OSHA documentation and over knowledge of compliance (29 CFR 1910 and 1926 regulations)
- Working knowledge of plant environment and processes
- Computer literate
- Capable of working without direct supervision
- Flexible hours a must
- Knowledge of purchasing system
- People oriented
- Above average job performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to assist in training and appropriate documentation
- Ability to work closely with Plant Management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English/Spanish Bilingual a plus
- Confidentiality is a must
- Must be able to read and write English
- 1 YEAR FULL TIME SAFETY EXPERIENCE
