Job Description
Fulltime NonExempt Onsite
Hills & Dales is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to support the safety functionality and appearance of our facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate will have strong handson maintenance skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment..
Schedule: MondayFriday 8AM5PM (Saturday and Sunday on call as needed / rotation)
Responsibilities
Perform regular building and grounds maintenance per routine schedules
Conduct basic repairs on HVAC plumbing electrical laundry and facility systems
Maintain organization vehicles equipment and tools
Assist with snow removal painting deep cleaning and seasonal decorating
Support setup for events and facility rentals
Participate in oncall rotation and respond to emergencies within 60 minutes
Conduct fire drills and help ensure compliance with safety regulations
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report hazards
Assist with training documentation and communication related to facility operations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred
35 years of general maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical carpentry and equipment repair
Valid drivers license and ability to travel between facilities
Ability to lift 50100 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Comfortable using tools housekeeping equipment and basic computer programs
Must pass background check (free of child/dependent adult abuse convictions)
Offer contingent upon the succressful completetion of a criminal background check dependernt adult and child abuse background check and drug screen.
