Job Description
Travel RN - Emergency Department Cambridge Massachusetts
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department for a 13-weeks travel/contract position in Cambridge MA 02138.
Job Highlights:
- Shift: 12hr Nights (7p-7a)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $2448 - $2592
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Perform triage assessment and treatment of patients in accordance with established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient condition and document nursing assessments interventions and outcomes.
- Respond to emergency situations using nursing standards and protocols.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience & Requirements:
Experience:
- 2 years of Telemetry experience (required)
- Previous travel experience preferred
License:
- Active Massachusetts RN License (required)
Certifications Required (AHA only):
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
