Job Description
Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
- Triage assess and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Administer medications IV therapy and other treatments in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations including Code Blues and trauma activations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required.
