Job Description

Summary:

The Adjunct Faculty of Musical Theatre History will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in the history of musical theatre. This includes developing and delivering lectures creating course materials assessing student work and providing a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in musical theatre history.
  • Develop course syllabi lectures and other instructional materials.
  • Present course material in a clear engaging and organized manner.
  • Assess student learning through assignments exams and other methods.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Theatre History Musical Theatre Studies or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the history of musical theatre including key figures works and movements.
  • Experience teaching at the college level preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills..
