Job Description
- Liaise with Warehouse Returns Sales teams and customers
- Manage and maintain a clean age analysis
- Clear all outstanding accounts and oversee payment processing
- Download distribute and reconcile daily bank statements
- Manage daily cashbook updates and reconciliations
- Approve and process new account applications
- Supervise Filing Clerks and support Credit Controllers
- Authorise journals and credit notes prior to processing
- Review credit terms and customer reconciliations
- Investigate writeoffs and seek authorisation from Financial Director
- Prepare routine financial reports and present to management
- Tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- Experience in an FMCG environment is compulsory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Assertive and confident with good relationshipbuilding abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to manage deadlines under pressure
- Strong administrative and time management skills
- Proven ability to implement and optimise debtor processes
