Who we are: Eastpointe Community Schools is in the business of transforming lives. Our partnership with the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD) Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and University of Virginias Partners for Leaders in Education (UVAPLE) has created a unique opportunity for rapid district turnaround. Part of our continued growth and improvement involves increasing educational expectations developing a culture of support and nurturing all students to address academic behavioral and interpersonal needs.
Forest Park Elementary School is a grade K5 school with an enrollment of about 350 students. Forest Park is a welcoming environment offering transitional and traditional kindergarten instructional coaching support and feedback for staff. At Forest Park we feature Grade Level Collaborative Teams! We support our students with Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and offer them smiles every day!

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Education or beyond with a preference for early literacy or math
State of Michigan Teaching Certification or in process
Successful classroom teaching experience
Successful record of School Leadership
