Posting Title: Lead ELL (Berko) (Internal Only) (SY2526)

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and licensed ELL/MLE teacher who has demonstrated exemplary teaching and instructional leadership skills.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
The lead teachers classroom will serve as a model classroom for effective instruction. In addition to a full teaching load content leads will plan and facilitate PLT sessions professional development sessions and PLCs. Support school teachers students and school leaders with best teaching practices for education of multilingual learners (MLLs) and with the DESE compliance at school level. These include but not limited to: facilitates LAT and some PLTs Coplan model and support grade level teams (if needed) in modeling effective instruction to fulfill MLLs needs Support teacher planning/coplanning to implement SEI strategies Collaborate with District Coordinators and directors as well as other coaches and principals being able to answer and support compliance questions. Organize common and standardized assessments timelines and testing materials. Collect data and lead teacher teams in analyzing assessment data to inform instruction. Support the development of common assessments including ACCESS and implementation of Massachusetts Frameworks. Plan faculty meetings PD and new teacher days as needed. Participate as a team member of ILT and School Department PLC. Additional duties as determined by the principal. Responsibilities extend beyond the regular school day/school year.
