Location: Cincinnati Ohio
FLSA Status: NonExempt
Starting Pay:$16.00 17.00/hourwith an additional $1.00 shift differential on weekends.

About the Role:

As a Job Coach you will be a vital force in helping individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) achieve their career goals and thrive in the workplace. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of people guiding them on their journey to meaningful fulfilling employment. Youll work handinhand with clients employers and support teams creating an inclusive and supportive environment for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Tailored Support: Assess each individuals unique skills interests and aspirations to craft personalized job plans ensuring every person has the chance to succeed in the workforce.

Empowerment through Training: Lead job readiness sessions that cover essential skills like resume writing interview techniques and workplace etiquette providing the foundation for success.

Handson Coaching: Offer inthemoment coaching and support teaching individuals how to use jobrelated tools and equipment while helping them navigate workplace challenges with confidence.

Advocacy for Success: Champion the needs and rights of individuals in the workplace ensuring they are supported and respected in their roles.

Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with employers to identify and break down workplace barriers opening up new opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Building Connections: Act as a bridge between employers and clients seeking out and securing job placements that match each individuals strengths and aspirations.

Tracking Progress: Keep accurate records and data to ensure program compliance while maintaining a focus on the continued success and growth of each individual.

Ongoing Growth: Engage in regular team meetings training and professional development to continually enhance your skills and contribute to the success of the program.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a deep sense of empathy and patience.

A genuine passion for empowering others and helping them reach their potential.

CPR/First Aid Certification (Current).

A valid drivers license (with fewer than six points) and car insurance.
