SUMMER SCHOOL K2 High Dose Reading Tutor (up to 30 positions available)
Description:
The High Dose tutoring position involves working with students in grades K2 in small groups of no more than three. Tutors will conduct 30minute sessions four days a week during the summer. This is a temporary summer position with a daily commitment of 2 hours specifically from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM from June 30th to August 7th. High Dose tutors will be trained in a reading intervention curriculum and must follow the guidance of the summer school program administrator. Must attend a reading intervention training session prior to summer school starting during the week of June 22nd.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Conducting small group reading interventions.
- Working with small groups or individual students.
- Preparing instructional materials.
- Supporting student engagement and participation in reading intervention.
- Maintain student progress records and conduct progress monitoring assessments.
Qualifications
- Prior experience preferred
- Multilingual applicants preferred
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
- Commitment to equitable and inclusive practices for all students

Shift: Temporary (2hour shift)
Salary: $20 per hour
