Risk and Controls Governance LeadWhat does a successful Risk & Controls Governance Lead do at Fiserv
You will join our team in fostering a culture of risk awareness and accountability by developing implementing and maintaining a comprehensive risk and control management framework. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams and ensuring effective governance over our risk and control landscape aligning with organizational policies standards objectives and regulatory requirements.
What you will do:
- Lead the development and execution of the risk and controls governance strategy within the assigned organization.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of a robust risk management framework including policies procedures and methodologies.
- Collaborate with business units to promote a strong risk culture and ensure effective implementation of controls.
- Prepare and present risk and control status governance reports to senior management.
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk and control governance providing guidance and support.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulators.
- Stay abreast of industry trends regulatory changes and emerging risks.
What you will need to have:
- 2 years of experience in risk management controls governance or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing risk and controls governance strategies.
- Previous experience with identifying assessing and prioritizing risks and control weaknesses.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience..
What would be great to have:
- 5 years of experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Previous role using communication and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
