What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in the Health Human Performance and Recreation department. This role will serve as a consulting resource to faculty staff and students on matters pertaining to facilities. A valid Texas Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is required.

A high school diploma and three (3) years of experience are required. A bachelors degree and five (5) years of experience is preferred. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience.

Applicants must be authorized to work fulltime in the United States.

What You Will Do

  • Supervise scheduled cleaning and sanitation of HHPR facilities
  • Maintain records and reports related to facilities
  • Prepare and maintain inventory records regarding supplies
  • Oversee and schedule maintenance and repair of HHPR facilities and equipment
  • Serve as a consulting resource to faculty staff and students on matters pertaining to facilities
  • Oversee staff training work schedules and practices
  • Supervise equipment room student worker
  • Experience with backpacking and other outdoor equipment is preferred
  • Keep recreation spaces clean organized and functional
  • Daily support for handson class lectures/events requiring various equipment and support
  • Check out return and reorganize equipment for LF HP RLS and other classes in our department as well as equipment used by OALLC
  • HHPR vehicle management of monthly gas card expenditures receipts and toll charges and keep up with checkout and maintenance/repair of vehicles and trailers
  • Purchase needed recreational class equipment for LF and RLS following Baylor procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
