Through relentless innovation and continuous collaboration with our customers GE Gas Power part of GE Vernova is providing more advanced cleaner and efficient power that people depend on today and building the energy technologies of the future.The West Region Director roles is pivotal in managing the Aero Services directly overseeing and influencing the resources and logistics necessary for executing service and maintenance activities at customer sites from Houston to California. This includes preventive and remedial maintenance repair and refurbishment of both sold and existing products.
Owns/influences budgets and operating plans. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. The role may have a major impact on a small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes minding our SQDC philosophy.
Job Description
- Management of the team responsible for execution of services for customer fleet customer issue resolution and responsible for P&L within sub-region ( West) as listed with preferred location Houston.
- People management and development along with talent pipeline growth are key responsibilities with ability to attract and retain talent.
- Responsible for risk management and deal underwriting in the ITR structure and in engaging holistically as a member of the Americas Aero Services ITR resources.
- Responsible for building and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Must continually improve using key daily-management KPIs as well as external VOC to navigate organization and business through market changes.
- Developing expertise in own function. May include roles that are experts in their discipline providing professional or thought leadership.
- Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility linking with other parts of the organization.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services.
- Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
- Employs sophisticated operational/product management manufacturing or engineering techniques.
- Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.
- Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders.
- Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners vendors or customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
- Min. 8 years of experience offering technical knowledge in Aeroderivative Gas or/ HD Turbine or/ power generation products
- Min. 3 years of experience managing / directing Senior individual contributors
Other Eligibility:
- Ideal location is Houston national relocation is offered.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time for Customer and Operations visits/meetings with coverage from Texas to California.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. This position will stay open on the career website extended to October 12th. 2025
