Job Description

Position Description

Serco is seeking a Principal Technical Support Team Analyst to join our team at Gowen Field near Boise Idaho supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical technical training and support to military units preparing for mission command operations.

In this role you will:

  • Supervise a team of qualified technical personnel to train and assist unit staff in establishing and maintaining tactical command post shelters power generation/distribution and the integration of Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS).
  • Train and provide technical support to establish command post networks and tactical communications equipment.
  • Install operate integrate and troubleshoot communications systems application configurations network addresses and perform system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Apply security updates as needed and ensure readiness support at the Mission Training Complex (MTC) or at the Training Unit Commander (TUC) point of need.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience with military training and training support or
  • Masters degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience with military training and training support.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Must have analytical subject matter expertise on the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) integration in support of Mission Command Training.
  • Must possess strong background with integration of various MCIS including CPCE Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Global Command and Control System Army (GCCSA) Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) Command Web Tactical Messaging WAVE and Joint Battle Command Platform (JBCP).
  • Must have a working knowledge of simulation systems including Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and Division Exercise Training and Review System (DXTRS).
  • Must possess IAT Level II certification.
  • Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time).
  • Must be able to work onsite at Gowen Field near Boise Idaho.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven leadership experience supervising technical military personnel.
  • Strong technical integration skills with command post and communication systems.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Digital Master Gunner qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in MCIS integration at Brigade or higher echelons.
