Job Description
- Role: GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Experience: 69 years
- Work Location: Phoenix AZ
- Project Duration: 12 Month Contract
Required Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
- 15 years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) focused on IaC and immutable infrastructure
- 15 years of experience with GCP foundational services: IAM VPC Cloud Logging Security controls Storage and Compute
- Deep understanding of GCPs GKE Enterprise Serverless and Big Data native services: Dataproc Composer Dataflow BigQuery (BQ) etc.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Familiarity with service mesh concepts and traffic flow management; Istio experience preferred
- Handson experience with observability tools such as Stackdriver Prometheus and OpenTelemetry (OTEL)
- Knowledge of FinOps/cloud cost optimization concepts is a plus
- Proven experience supporting largescale production systems
- Strong communication skills to interpret technical and business challenges and provide solutions
- Willingness to learn new technologies and serve as a consultant or subject matter expert across internal teams
