Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is seeking a Project Officer for a potential World Health Organization (WHO) project. The projects objective is to provide support for the operationalization of the Open Digital Health Summit (ODHS) and associated curriculum strategy in.
This work directly supports the WHO Global Health Strategy forand will drive measurable impact at country level by supporting Member States in developing resilient essential digital health infrastructure in support of prioritized health sector objectives that are aligned with the emerging WHOITU Reference Architecture for digital health transformation and other existing WHO and ITU normative guidance including SMART guidelines. It includes support for developing and maintaining relevant associated operational guidance including Reference Architecture for Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and the WHO Classification of digital interventions services and applications in health (CDISAH).
The Project Officer provides critical support to the Project Manager in ensuring the smooth planning implementation monitoring and reporting of the project. The Project Officer helps coordinate project activities manage documentation support communications and stakeholder engagement and ensure timely followup on tasks and deliverables. Working closely with the Project Manager and project team the Project Officer contributes to ensuring that the project stays on schedule within scope and in compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
1. Project Implementation and Coordination:
a. Support the daytoday coordination and implementation of project activities and deliverables.
b. Track progress against the work plan and ensure timely execution of tasks in coordination with the project team.
c. Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans Gantt charts and task trackers.
2. Technical and Administrative Support:
a. Provide logistical and administrative support for project meetings workshops and trainings including coordination of participants preparation of materials and documentation.
b. Support the development and formatting of technical documents presentations training materials reports and deliverables.
c. Assist in the drafting proofreading and submission of donor reports and other required documentation.
3. Communication and Documentation:
a. Maintain organized project files and ensure proper version control and accessibility for the team.
b. Draft and circulate meeting agendas and minutes and follow up on action items.
c. Contribute to internal and external communications including newsletters briefs and reports.
4. Stakeholder and Partner Engagement:
a. Support relationship management by coordinating communication with partners subcontractors and stakeholders as needed.
b. Assist in organizing and documenting stakeholder consultations partner meetings and donor communications under the guidance of the Project Manager.
5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
a. Ensure that project documentation and implementation processes comply with MSH and donor policies and guidelines.
b. Assist in maintaining project compliance trackers and checklists for deliverables procurement and other contractual requirements.
