Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining customer success with our customers and partners Amazon Web Services is looking for an accomplished Principal Partner Business Development Manger in the AWS Specialist and Partner org to conceptualize create content for and execute partnerfacing initiatives focused on driving business value realization working with key members of the rapidly growing Customer Success COE.
As the Partner Customer Success Development Manager you will lead on content creation including playbooks to help partners build and scale their customer success practices focused on business value realization. This will be done in concert with the Customer Success COE and with partners who have established customer success practices. You will create and run a Partner Customer Success Advisory Council to maintain a 360 degree relationship with influential partners creating a path for those partners to channel feedback into the Customer Success COE and more broadly into AWS Services and Sales. You will work with the customer success team to determine how to scale the partner motions across AWS sales. You will be responsible for publishing partner wins with end customers by cultivating references and partnering with marketing to create case studies.

Key job responsibilities
Work with subject matter experts development partners and other stakeholders to develop both internal and partner facing content that meets audience and program requirements in creative and engaging ways
Analyze and evaluate training programs to determine gaps in content initiatives and timelines and provide solutions
Develop and mature mechanisms to deeply understand customer and partner needs gaps and opportunities including advisory council and a mechanism to secure customer references
Develop datadriven narrative proposals for new initiatives or evolving/retiring existing programs.
Work closely and communicate effectively with partners AWS sales and partner teams and AWS HQ teams around the world using different mediums
Land coordinate and execute programs through crossfunctional engagement.
Create scalable programs that enable AWS teams and partners to drive customer value realization
Build mechanisms to capture feedback and act on partner insights that inform strategy evolution
Prepare for and participate in business reviews to the senior executive management team.

BA/BS degree required
7 years in the technology industry focused on customer success or in gotomarket roles or management consulting serving hightech clients on gotomarket topics
7 years in partner management customer success or in gotomarket roles
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change
Experience working with global systems integrators (GSIs/Sis) consulting partners and/or independent software vendors (ISVs)
Experience in cloud computing or enterprise technology services
MBA or advanced degree
Understanding of enterprise customer success delivery models
Experience building partner enablement programs
Experience developing training and enablement programs
Strong program management and operational excellence skills
History of building partnerships across complex organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
