Job Description
We re looking for an enthusiastic and peoplefocused Community Relations Representative to join our outreach and event marketing team. This is an entrylevel opportunity ideal for individuals passionate about connecting with communities promoting meaningful causes and growing their careers in nonprofit marketing public relations or fundraising.
In this role you ll support the execution of communitybased events and campaigns that raise awareness and drive support for nonprofit partners. Through facetoface engagement promotional activities and public outreach you ll help build lasting relationships with local communities and represent causes that truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent nonprofit clients at events community functions and public outreach initiatives
Engage with event attendees to share campaign goals encourage participation and answer questions
Assist with event setup logistics and promotional material distribution
Support donor and volunteer outreach efforts through direct contact and followup
Help maintain positive relationships with community partners venues and local stakeholders
Contribute to planning sessions and brainstorm outreach strategies with the team
Track and report feedback and performance metrics from events and community interactions
Requirements
A recent graduate or entrylevel professional interested in community relations marketing or nonprofit work
An excellent communicator who enjoys interacting with the public and building connections
Adaptable proactive and a strong team player with a passion for making a difference
Comfortable in fastpaced environments and eager to learn through handson experience
