What You Will Do:
The PDC Process Engineering team is seeking an Engine Quality Engineer (EQE) proficient level Process Engineer to assist with the review and approval of assembly blue prints and work instructions across the PDC. Additionally the candidate will own the Proficiency Steering Committee and drive proficiency amongst the Process Engineering team through Standard Work creation Learning Events and Proficiency Reviews.
The candidate must demonstrate interpersonal and team skills strong communication skills and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing business requirements. Additionally well be looking for individuals with strong business acumen willingness to implement and drive lean manufacturing techniques and the ability to develop and insert new technologies into the production assembly process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support All PDC Programs across Middletown and WPB with EQE Review
- Lead the Proficiency Development Steering committee and drive proficiency growth within the organization
- Develop and maintain standard work for the Process Engineering Team
- Promote the use of data driven root cause and corrective action tool usage
- Support PE Owned ontime production CAR (Corrective Action Request) closure
- Support all EH&S (Environment Health & Safety) initiatives (PRA WorkFit Ergo) by driving safe processes across all production product lines.
- Lead/Participate in Employee Engagement initiatives and activities demonstrated through diverse work groups as part of the PDCs Leadership Team.
- Drive product cost reduction and ensure War on Cost targets are achieved through process improvements and deployment of new technologies .
- Support Program CI and other CORE activities
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelors degree and minimum 7years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Achieved Proficiency Level 3 (EQE) Production Process Engineering
- Experience motivating influencing collaborating and gaining cooperation and action from others
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook with ability to use Minitab and other statistical software; proficiency in statistics data analytics DOE and multivariate statistics
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- OEM Manufacturing experience ideally within a gas turbine repair Assembly & Test (DAT) facility.
- LEAN Continuous Improvement and/or CORE ACE SixSigma training and experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 124000 USD 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
