JOB SUMMARY
Under the guidance and direction of the Market HR Director the HR Specialist is responsible for enhancing department functions by managing benefit administration and processes managing LOA events including communication with employee and manager payroll/HR administration functions. Assists with onboarding functions and orientation programs.
Manages HR related projects and HRIS data and system(s). Orients and trains new supervisors/managers on HR related systems (Lawson Kronos Taleo Service Now etc.). Provides training updates to supervisors/managers on systems. Serves as a market HR resource.
College degree required with business emphasis preferred.
Previous experience in HR or HR related filed required.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
