Newark Street School seeks a creative detail oriented technologically versatile administrative assistant who can provide administrative support and clerical needs. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for financial & student information systems management multiple district calendars and schedules scheduling and organizing schoolwide events in the context of the individual school data entry and mandated reports and correspondence. Public interaction with all of our constituents (families faculty staff neighboring schools central office staff student services staff contracted and related service providers Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) others assigned) is essential along with a positive demeanor and efficiency. Employees must be experienced and adept with multiple platforms including: Google Suite Microsoft Office software Zoom social media webpage update and design; project management student information systems financial systems and receptionist duties including phone typing and email. This is a 205 day East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students.
