Job Description
Intermediate District 287 islooking for Seasonal SummerCustodial Workerslocated at various sites!
Position Details:
- Pay rate:$20.49 per hour
- Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Dates: June 9 2025 September 5 2025
- Provide various janitorial services and facilities projects from June through September including but not limited to: painting deep cleaning of classrooms moving furniture attaching and assembling fixtures floor work outside maintenance and other janitorial services as needed
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Minnesota Drivers license and be 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully pass a preemployment physical and background check
- Ability and interest in performing physical labor in all types of weather conditions
Physical Requirement:
- Must have adequate physical strength stamina physical agility and visual and auditory acuity and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties of the position
- A preemployment physical examination is required
- Temporary employees who return to District 287 and are returning to the same work assignment as previously served will be required to go through a preemployment physical exam every two years.
- May be required to lift moderate to heavy weights and may be exposed to significant levels of dust heat noise extreme weather conditions and risk of injury from equipment and assaultive and/or abusive students
