Job Description
Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst IV to join the software development team supporting the execution of a large size multiyear contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System Army (IPPSA) Army Military Payroll (AMP). The Functional Analyst IV will be an agile development team member responsible for configuring PeopleSoft application modules to meet development team objectives. The Functional Analyst IV should be comfortable working in an agile team environment collaborating with team members to remove blockers and resolve problems and sharing information within and across teams.
Responsibilities

- Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications to leverage delivered functionality.
- Provide estimates for work assignments.
- Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tool(s).
- Demonstrate proficiency in using software development tools to include but not limited to Azure DevOps SQL Developer and App Designer.
- Translate user and enabler stories and acceptance criteria into functional software design.
- Conduct and support all testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.
- Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.
- Conduct peer reviews on other teammates configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.
- Utilize SQL to conduct simple queries to assist with testing data lookup and assist in creating technical and design documentation.
- Be able to translate business needs into System Solutions in the form of mockups and design graphics as required.
- Demonstrate software functionality to development team members and customer.
- Mentor junior development team members.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:Bachelors degree and/or 5 or more years of experience within the federal government DoD Army or IC and/or private sector preferred. PeopleSoft Workday or other ERP experience a plus.
Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of PS HCM preferred. PS Global Payroll Time and Labor and Financials a plus.SAFe for Teams preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Location: Work location will be in Arlington Virginia 2 days a week. Occasional travel up to 10%.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
