About UsLABBB Collaborative provides educational programming and support services for over 300 special needs students from over 65 districts. LABBB serves students ages 3 to 22 years old with a variety of special needs including students on the autism spectrum students with multihandicaps pervasive development disorders developmental delays language deficits and social/emotional challenges. About the role:The Educational Technology Coach/Help Desk Staff will provide direct support to staff and students ensuring effective use of technology to enhance teaching and learning. This role requires a blend of technical support and instructional coaching to assist educators in integrating technology into the classroom. The position will be responsible for troubleshooting issues training staff and maintaining the technology infrastructure including Chromebooks iPads laptops and interactive boards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field. Relevant experience preferably in a public school environment is preferable.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully an individual must be proficient with managing and troubleshooting Chromebooks iPADS and Windows laptops; be familiar with educational software including JAMF iPASS Google Workspace and other popular learning tools; and possess strong instructional technology skills with the ability to train and support educators. They must also have excellent problem solving and communication skills the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast paced environment and strong organizational skills with attention to individual will also have experience with interactive board solutions such as BenQ or ViewSonic Boards knowledge of assistive technology and its integration into educational settings and certification in educational technology or IT support is preferred. Prior or current professional experience in a public school setting or staffing an IT Help Desk is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: SupportProvide firstlevel technical support for staff and students addressing hardware software and network issues related to Chromebooks iPads laptops and interactive and troubleshoot devices using JAMF and other device management with account management and system access for iPass and other educational technology an organized ticketing system to track and resolve technology issues in a timely with IT staff to ensure smooth operation of all classroom with inventory management and deployment of technology SupportCollaborate with teachers to effectively integrate technology into lesson plans and instructional handson training and professional development to staff on using educational technology individualized coaching and modeling of best practices for technology integration in special education updated on emerging educational technologies and recommend innovative tools that align with student learning resources such as user guides and training materials for staff and and CommunicationAct as a liaison between the IT department and instructional staff to align technology initiatives with educational in schoolwide planning and decisionmaking regarding technology technology updates policies and best practices to the school with other departments to support crossfunctional technology and SecurityEnsure all technology usage complies with school policies and data privacy in implementing cybersecurity best practices to protect student and staff accessibility and assistive technology solutions for students with special any other duties and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Executive Director Director of Finance & Operations and the Chief Information Officer.

REPORTS TO: Chief Information Officer

This is a 12 month position with a competitive benefits package and a salary range between $55000 $65000.
