Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
1 Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR must hold a KentuckyStatement ofEligibility or OccupationBased Emergency Certificate in the subject area to be taught. Some CTE teachingpositions require current license(s) and/or experience listed in the specific job posting.
2 Shall demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students peers and adults.
3 Shall demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with students parents and faculty.
(CTE Teachers can become state certified if they have state approved related work experience that equals 4 years with 2 of those years within the last 5 years plus enroll in the New Teacher Institute program.)
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Shall have the ability to sit stoop possibly lift up to 50 pounds or more any and all body
movements as related to the job description.

To help students acquire the knowledge skills and attitudes that will contribute to their development into mature
able and responsible adults.
