Position summary: Test Proctors will facilitate inperson exams for students enrolled in Mathematics courses. Test Proctors will work with the general student population in our college math center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Enforce proper testing procedures for all students during exams
Effectively monitor several students at once
Assist with minor technical issues
Maintain a welcoming testing environment that encourages success of students from all backgrounds
Holistic Student Support
Familiarity with holistic support for students outside the classroom. These supports include Admissions and Records Enrollment Service Center High School Programs Recruiting and Orientation Career Services Student Support Center Tutoring Services Student Conduct Student Life Multicultural and International Services Adult Student Services and the Center for Access and Disability Services.
Ensure that services and activities promote accessibility and reflect fairminded practices.
Organizational Culture
Embraces and promotes the Colleges goals related to organizational culture and engagement.
Support the Math and Science Divisions efforts to utilize best practices in providing fairminded services and support for students faculty and staff.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
Ability to calmly handle difficult situations
Proficiency in basic internet use; ability to learn internet platforms (such as course management and statistical tools) quickly with training
Positive interpersonal skills; a commitment to building constructive relationships with students faculty staff and administrators
