Seeking an experienced professional in restraint system development with a proactive detailoriented and fastpaced work ethic. The candidate will be a key contributor to a highperformance engineering team ensuring technical excellence and efficient program execution throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development of airbag systems from concept through production and postSOP maintenance.
Own technical performance cost timing and quality targets for the airbag product line.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (design studio ergonomics BIW interior engineering) to optimize restraint system packaging.
Manage Tier 1 suppliers for engineering development and program milestones.
Plan and execute validation activities for subsystem integration (testing logistics analysis and troubleshooting).
Provide expertise in airbag and restraint system design to meet vehiclelevel targets.
Support crash testing and vehicle homologation ensuring correct parts and documentation are used.
Drive knowledgesharing efforts (guidelines lessons learned platform planning).
Qualifications :
Extensive experience in restraint system (airbags) development.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make sound engineering judgments under pressure.
Proven track record of working in fastpaced crossfunctional environments.
Capable of managing multiple suppliers and validation programs effectively.
Able to document communicate and act with precision and urgency.
