About the Opportunity
The DAmoreMcKim School of Business (DMSB) and Bouv College of Health Sciences (BCHS) at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts invite applications for a joint tenuretrack or tenured appointment in any rank (Assistant/Associate/Full professor) starting in Fall 2025. We are seeking outstanding faculty with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Healthcare Information Technology. The successful candidate will have a primary appointment in the Supply Chain and Information Management (SCIM) Group in DMSB and depending on the candidates research and teaching interests they will have a secondary appointment in either the Department of Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences (DPHSS) or School of Nursing (SON) in Bouv College. The position will primarily be on the Boston campus but there is also a possibility of affiliations at other campuses within the Northeastern University global network.
This interdisciplinary appointment brings an unparallel opportunity to join a dynamic research environment that values effective collaborations across disciplines. The candidates research area should be clearly aligned with an AI and healthcare information technology focus. The hired candidates responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting highquality interdisciplinary research teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels supporting current and planned education and accredited professional programs and participating in service to the University its colleges and departments and the candidates professional discipline.

About the Bouv College of Health Sciences:
The Bouv College of Health Sciences has over 250 faculty members with approximately 2000 undergraduate and 2400 graduate students. It is the leading national model for education and research in the health psychosocial and biomedical sciences and supports the Universitys mission of educating students for a life of fulfillment and accomplishment and creating and translating knowledge to meet global and societal needs. The College comprises four schools with eight departments: 1) School of Clinical and Rehabilitation Sciences (Departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders Medical Sciences and Physical Therapy Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences); 2) School of Community Health and Behavioral Sciences (Departments of Applied Psychology and Health Sciences); 3) School of Nursing; 4) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Departments of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy and Health System Sciences).
Summary of Responsibilities:
The faculty member is expected to conduct high quality research and publish in peer reviewed journals teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both the Supply Chain and Information Management Group and Bouve College of Health Sciences depending on their assigned teaching load and to participate in service activities in the group college and university level depending on rank. Faculty in the rank of associate or full professor are expected to provide leadership on curriculum and in different academic programs.
Responsibilities:
Research (about 40%50%)
Conduct research and publish work in peer reviewed journals.
Present research work in respected conferences which give visibility to the faculty members research as well as to Northeastern University.
Present work at Northeastern University forums such as research seminars and research symposia.
Participate in discipline specific research tasks such as ad hoc reviewer editorship conference track chair etc.
Teaching (about 40%)
Teach assigned courses. The teaching and course load will depend on the faculty members rank and specialization/interests as well as the needs and agreement between DAmoreMcKim School of Business and Bouve College of Health Sciences.
Mentor and advise students on their academic and professional development.
Engage in curriculum development and/or enhancement discussions and activities.
Participate in departmental and collegelevel deliberations on program development and enhancements.
Service (about 10%20%)
Participate in faculty meetings in the Group and at college level.
Provide service in the profession or discipline including ad hoc reviewer editorial roles etc.
Serve on committees at the group college or university level depending on rank.
Participate in advising and mentoring of student clubs and activities such as case competitions honor society etc.
Qualifications:
Candidates are expected to hold an earned doctorate in Information Systems/Management Healthcare Management/Systems Operations/Supply Chain Management or a closely related field by the employment start date. Academic rank at the Associate Professor and Full Professor levels will be commensurate with experience and qualifications reflecting a record of demonstrated teaching and scholarly excellence. For Associate Professor level appointments 5 years of related experience is required by the employment start date. For Full Professor level appointments 7 years of related experience is required by the employment start date.
Candidates must have a commitment to working with all student populations work and educational environments and to promoting experiential learning which are central to a Northeastern University education.

Pay Range:
Assistant Professor: $164000 $206000 Associate Professor: $181000 $221000With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarlysituated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
