Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73(minimum) $23.41(midpoint) $28.09 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Are you ready to make your mark Woodward is hiring an Operations Technician to join our Loves Park Campus on 2nd shift and perform machining operations. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing aerospace parts and components. If you are an experienced machine operator apply now!

What You Will Be Doing
Setting up and operating VMC machines performing tool offsets and changes editing programs etc.
Performing operations including but not limited to subassembly techniques bench inspections and laser marking.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to meet customer specifications
Working with company specific databases Microsoft and other computer programs to locate work instructions blueprints enter production quality and other data for quality and traceability purposes
Using various inspection tools and equipment including but not limited to calipers micrometers and various gauges to ensure customer and company specifications are being met
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving objects.
Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.

What We Are Looking For
Level 1:

High school diploma or equivalent is required
Previous machining experience is highly preferred
Level 2:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
1 year of machining experience is strongly desired


This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
